NBA Playoffs Live: The 2021 NBA Playoffs got underway on Tuesday, May 18, and we’ve got one game left to finalize the Western Conference playoff picture. ESPN will broadcast the final game of the play-in tournament for the Western Conference — the Memphis Grizzlies vs. the Golden State Warriors on Friday evening. Tip-off is set for 9 p.m. ET at Chase Center in San Francisco. The winner will secure the No. 8 seed and face the Utah Jazz in the first round, while the loser will head home for the offseason.

If you aren’t around a TV to check out this NBA matchup, you can stream the game via WatchESPN or the ESPN app. But keep in mind that you need a cable-login subscription. If you don’t have a cable login to access ESPN for a live stream, you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the game.

The Grizzlies came out on top in an elimination play-in game on Wednesday night with a 100-96 victory over the San Antonio Spurs. Memphis played well down the stretch of the regular season with four straight wins, though the streak was ended with a loss to the Warriors in the regular season finale. The Grizzlies finished the regular season with a 38-34 record, the ninth best mark in the West.

The Warriors are coming off a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in a thrilling game earlier this week, and they’ll get another shot at clinching a spot in the playoffs on Friday night. Steph Curry won the regular season scoring title and has been on fire recently for a Golden State team that finished 39-33, the eighth best record in the West. The Warriors are still likely to be without Kelly Oubre Jr. with a wrist injury, and Damion Lee continues to battle back from COVID-19.
